Swat district administration receives more than 2000 comments for resolution of issues during an hour online e Kachahri
Swat: The District Administration, Swat organized an ‘Online e Kachahri’ for general public on 24th September at 3 pm. Representatives of all relevant department attended the kachahri in order to respond update the public about current projects and action taken to their complaints. Junaid Khan, Deputy Commissioner Swat received and responded to the complaints through social media. He said that organizing online kacheris, responding to social media complaints and to inform public about resolutions of their problems through social media including messages on their provided mobile number is a regular feature of district administration. The todays online kacheri received more than 2000 comments in an hour which shows the trust of people on district administration. People appreciated the initiatives and prompt response to their complaints. While responding to issues, Junaid Khan, Deputy Commissioner informed the public that district administration is vigilant about local issues and already taking actions on complaints like encroachment, cleanliness, illegal speed breakers, shortage of medicines, electricity, gas supply issues and traffic disruptions and accidents. He highlighted that his Assistant commissioners along with other departments are already taking actions against hotels, restaurants, shops, unhygienic conditions on the complaints received through applications, social media or mobiles messaging.
Junaid Khan, Deputy Commissioner Swat stated that on-call, online and open Kachahris are a way to involve local community . He highlighted that Swat is an attraction for tourists, therefore in order to facilitate them as well as local community, District administration is already in consultation with relevant federal and provincial authorities to resolve issues of Encroachments, slow progress in road projects, delays in construction of bridges, bypass and flyover problems. He also asked people to approach office of the Deputy Commissioner for resolution of their personal affairs through application addressed to him.
