GOVT OFFICES DIRECTED TO INSTALL SIGNBOARDS.

On receiving many complaints from the Civil Society regarding lack of proper sign boards in some of public/Government offices; a team of the District Administration Swat led by Mr. Fawad Khan, the Add: Deputy Commissioner Swat visited different offices lying outside the District Headquarters’ Compound.
Mr. Riaz Ali (AC Babuzai) and Mr. Haider Ali (Public Relation Officer) accompanied him during the inspection.
The Add: Deputy Commissioner observed grieve concern over lake of proper signboards in some of the offices, due to which citizen’s facing hardships. A letter of displeasure was issued to the quarter concerned for severe unhygienic condition of the office, gown of herbs and shrubs in office vicinity, openly lying old record/machinery/vehicles.
Apart from above, below directions through letters has been issued to all the line departments.
1. All Govt Departments/Bodies/Institutions shall install a prominent signboard outside their offices preferably with black background and while fonts.
2. Contact details of the office like Phone Number, E-mail, and/or Fax Number should be written on signboard.
3. All Govt Office are directed to make a Social Media Page for information of the General Public.
4. All Govt Departments, bodies, and institutions shall display of the public service they provide along with specified time limit and approved fee and other awareness materials on the notice boards, Social Media pages and websites for ease/facilitation of general public.
