District Administration Swat received a lot of complaints regarding overpricing.Deputy Commissioner Swat Amer Afaq directed all ACs to carry out pricing checking in all areas of Swat.In this regard AC Charbagh Kashif Qayum carried out price checking in Charbagh.Shopkeepers involved in overpricing were heavily fined.All the shopkeepers are directed to comply approved rate because overpricing will not be tolerated at any cost.

Sir, Fare rate in each adda should be hanged or pasted for passengers to pay legal fare in flying coaches, coasters from swat to Peshawar, Mardan, pindi etc and also for local transport like fare from mingora to matta, khwazakhela, bahrain, malam jaba etc.
Plz check the prices in parks and parking areas all over the district
Kindly also check the petrol pumps they are charging extra 4.3 Rupees per litre. The price needs to be regulated
Sir a hot line facility be arranged . At night the transporters charge the customers many times bigger fare rate.
It should be a combined effort. Price tagging needs to be introduced by the business or consumer agency side, if there is such thing to begin with…It would help consumers…a kind of modern system though time consuming….to ensure every penny or Paisa spent wisely…
