SOMEBODY GET ME A DOCTOR [Pakistan, February 2022]

This photo looks as dismal as I felt when taking it. My first major trip this year and I found myself too poorly to appreciate my time there. Kalam is a village along the upper reaches of the Swat River in Swat Valley, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. This picture does the place little justice and I’m sure that the colors are far more striking in the spring. It’s known to be fairytale landscape consisting of snow capped peaks, mysterious pine forests, gushing rivers and a thick white carpet adding a touch of purity to it.
