Being able to get into cycling has been one of the best things about my 2020. I’ve always loved cycling, but had accepted that it was only possible in places like the Netherlands.⁣

While the Netherlands is still arguably the best place to cycle in the world, I’ve discovered that my home town ain’t too bad after all. There are several quiet routes and neighborhoods near my house, including a farm with cows! I definitely wasn’t expecting that🐄⁣

I used to cycle to my university in Florida, but that felt more like a chore than fun. Tons of cars, completely flat terrain …. not ideal. But my hometown (where I am now) is extremely hilly though making for some epic routes that make you feel like you’re flying. ⁣

My ultimate cycle-related dream is to ride on the Makran Coastal Highway. Sadly this seems a bit far out with the restrictions on foreigners in this beautiful region, but insha’Allah I’ll be able to experience the KKH in two wheels in this coming year 😊🙏🏼⁣
