Accumulation of plastic bag wastes causes environmental pollution that negatively effect human/other living creatures and also deteriorates natural beauty. Plastic bags are not biodegradable and will not decompose or degrade even after years.
In order to get rid of plastic bags, District Administration Swat has devised a plan to gradually switch towards biodegradable bags.In this connection, AC Bahrain Aftab Khan has carried out an awareness campaign and distributed biodegradable bags(Free of cost). In the next step, Plastic Bags will be completely replaced by biodegradable bags in all parts of District Swat.
