"Picture below is of female of this species that is identifiable by black-and-white tail and white spotting on grey underparts. These birds tend to live in fast moving streams and mountain rivers. They often prefer streams with high population of insects such as mayflies, where they feed on them. It is common from Chitral down to Swat and Murree Hills and surroundings."
