Tourism in Swat. Many Tourists are flocking to Swat after return of peace and security . Pakistan’s Swat Valley is famously beautiful — with lush green valleys, lakes and waterfalls. For years tourism was big local business but then the industry was hit hard.
Militants took control of the Valley and were only driven out with heavy fighting in 2009.
