Its a well known fact that it became easier for Islamic invaders to conquer India because significant rajas in the northern belt (Gandhara civiliztion, Kushan dynasty, Ashokans) adopted Buddhism and become largely non-violent, the basic dharma in Buddhism….. Sad he people of this valley have forgotten their roots and still praying ta he mosque buil by a trial invader instead of meditating like the Buddha whose statues abound the site 🙂

What amazes me is that people are offering namaz on the site where Ghazni built his mosque after ransacking this buddhist/hindu site….. anyways I dont think this site should be used for tourism in the name of hinduism/buddhism when there is no respect for these religions in the minds of muslims…

  3. @rodtorre7 bro it is sad pakistanis r not willing to admit how civilised hindus were n r , also about time they digested hindus were there before them i mean islamic invasion .
